VFW members were on campus Friday with red poppies, great stories, and
lessons in folding the flag. Be sure to take time to think about
Memorial Day and don't just enjoy a day off!
Homework:
Tuesday, June 1: periods 1, 3, 5 Collaboration Day
Finish The Wave and discuss it, Complete an idiom worksheet,
brainstorm idioms. Create an idiom book, illustrating six.

Wednesday, June 2:
periods 2, 4, 6
Cartoon vocabulary quiz. Complete and turn in picture books about
parts of speech.
Homework:
Thursday, June 3: periods 3, 5, 1
Finish idiom books if necessary. Watch WALL-E and sign yearbooks.
Homework:
Friday, June 4: periods 4, 6, 2
Watch "Cheaper by the Dozen" and sign yearbooks.
Homework:
Monday, June 7: periods 5, 1, 3
Pack up room,
sign yearbooks, period 1 practice for promotion.
Tuesday, June 8:
Seventh
graders to the movies, eighth grade to promotion.
